Essex Insulation was founded in 2015 by a team that grew up in Vermont and understood firsthand how much a cold, drafty house affects daily life. What started as a small operation focused on Essex Junction and the surrounding neighborhoods has grown into a trusted insulation contractor serving communities across Chittenden County and beyond.
The Essex area has a lot of homes built between the 1960s and the 1990s - houses that were constructed when insulation standards were much lower than they are today. Many of those homes have barely changed since they were built. Homeowners feel it every winter in their heating bills, in cold upstairs bedrooms, and in the ice dams that form along the roofline after a heavy snow. We started this company to fix that.
